Day 1A of the $25,500 Super High Roller Championship in the partypokerWPT World Online Championships is done and dusted. Eighty-eight of the world's best players bought in and only 11 of them survived the first flight.

Hartmann

Nobody bagged up more chips than Pascal Hartmann who turned his 100,000 starting stack into a colossal 1,964,082 chips over the course of 18 levels.

Hartmann is a superb poker player and one who has put in several deep runs during the WPTWOC series. He's not managed to take down a Championship Event yet, bit this incredible start has done his chances of glory no harm at all.

Team partypoker's Mikita Badziakouski is Hartmann's closest rival when it comes to number of chips. Badziakouski bagged up 1,250,461 and was one of only three players to finish Day 1A with a seven-figure stack. German superstar Ole Schemion (1,103,933) was the other.

The Day 1A field was stacked, as you'd expect from such a big buy-in event. Kahle Burns (969,133) has started the tournament well while the likes of Stephen Chidwick (666,999), and recent WSOP bracelet winner Daniel Dvoress (492,621) also progressed.

Jan Arends finished the opening flight with 146,456 chips and has a lot of work to do then Day 2 commences at 8:05 p.m. CEST on September 21.

The second and final opening flight of the $25,500 Super High Roller Championship in the partypokerWPT World Online Championships is in the books.

The Day 1b field attracted 111 players with 17 survivors. This brings the total field up to 199 players with 28 total survivors when factoring in the 88 players and 11 survivors on Day 1b. This generated $25,000 in extra value with the mouth-watering $5 million guarantee just missed.

Christopher Fitzgerald emerged as the Day 1b chip leader after turning his 100,000 starting stack into a monster stack of 1,312,702 in chips after 18 blind levels of 25 minutes each.

Also bagging seven-figure stacks on Sunday were Daniel Rezaei (1,176,375) and partypoker Ambassador Jason Koon (1,007,130).

Meanwhile, partypoker Ambassador Ludovic Geilich will also bring a big stack forward to Day 2 after successfully ending Day 1b with a stack of 797,634.

Day 2 Begins on Sept. 21 at 8:05 p.m. CEST

The 28 remaining players will return at 8:05 p.m. CEST on Sept. 21 in hopes of putting themselves in a good position for the massive $1,094,460 top prize. The final 28 players are already each guaranteed at least a min-cash of $56,750.

The action will begin with blinds at 7,000/14,000 along with an ante of 1,800 and will increase every 40 minutes. The day will end when seven players are left remaining, who will all be guaranteed at least a $155,061 seventh-place payout.
