The idea was to introduce a new design that would keep the prestige of the Epiphone name going strong, and although the Casino looked a lot like a Gibson ES-335 at a glance, it differed in that it was (and still is) a true hollowbody, delivering stage-ready clear, ringing tone that loves to be overdriven. The Epiphone Casino’s unique design put it in a class of it’s own, sporting a smaller body depth and a big clear tone. It’s ability to feedback and be overdriven immediately attracted the attention of Paul McCartney, and soon gained a following by the likes of The Beach Boys, Keith Richards and Gary Clark Jr.

Our Blues Series Kit uses Paper In Oil K42Y tone caps for improved overall performance. Excellent clarity with very vintage warm and woody tones. Epiphone Casino China

Wiring harness is feed thru the f holes and requires opening in the widest part of the f hole no less than 1- 3/16 to 1-1/4 inch to be able to feed the harness into the hollow body.
Template component measurements center to center:
Volume to Volume 2.5' Switch to Neck Volume 2'
Tone to Tone 2.5' Switch to Jack 6'
Volume to Tone 2.5'

We add an additional 1/2 to 1 inch extra wire run between components for installation flexibility.

Sheraton models: These models have a smaller f hole opening and will not allow a full size pot to feed thru. Suggest measuring the widest opening of the f hole before ordering for a Sheraton. Min widest width 1 - 3/16. Questions please feel free to email me.
I personally prefer Bourns potentiometers over all other brands including CTS. I have found them to be smoother, responsive and longer lasting. The very best taper available. These pots are 18 spline shaft so USA type knobs will not fit without first pinching the top of the split shaft together a little and slowly push the knob on. Epiphone and off shore type will fit fine. We do offer a line of knobs that fit. ​
**If you are not sure whether your guitar uses short (3/8') or long (3/4') shaft pots please check before ordering. Normally Pre-1977 Gibson Les Paul's, Epiphone's, SG's use short shafts. All Gibson Les Paul's manufactured after 1976 use Long Shaft pots. This kit comes with Short Shaft. Visit our other store products to see our Long Shaft Pot harness's. Note: If you have an imported guitar (e.g. Japan, China, etc.) you may need to modify the potentiometer holes to 3/8 inch to accommodate the Bourns bushings. Email me with questions.

Although these harnesses are pre-assembled and tested they do require some soldering to connect the pickups and the output jack. A 25 – 30 watt soldering iron is recommended. Make sure you are comfortable with making these connections or we suggest you take this to a qualified guitar tech to complete the installation. I can not be responsible if you damage a unit.
