HOW TO PLAY

The game is dealt with a standard 52–card deck. There are 104 cards in a double-deck game. 260 cards in a five-deck shoe, and 416 cards in an eight-deck shoe.

  • Any two card hand consisting of any special natural ace with 10 or any face card is a natural and beats all other hands.
  • An ace has a value of:
    • All numbered cards have face value.
    • Aces have a value of 1 or 11.
    • All face cards have a value of 10.
    • All Players’ hands are compared with the Player/Dealer’s hand.

Player objective is to form a hand whose sum is closer to 21 than the Player/Dealer’s hand, but does not exceed 21.

A natural will beat any other non-natural 21, and consists of an ace and a card valued at 10, with the first 2 cards. If the player/dealer receives a natural, the hand is over and all players’ hands are reconciled. Each Player will receive two cards on the initial deal. Players have the option of drawing additional cards. Each Player has the option to be the Player/Dealer, for a maximum of two hands, starting from seat #1.

At the initial deal, all players receive two cards face-up (face down in double deck games), and the Player/Dealer receives one card face up and one card face.

The following hand signals must be used to indicate a player’s desired action:

  1. A sweeping or tapping motion towards a Player’s body indicates the desire to hit.
  2. A side-to-side hand motion, parallel to the table, indicates the desire to hit.
  3. A horizontal line drawn across the table behind the Player’s bet indicates the desire to surrender.

All deals and draws start from the first occupied seat to the left of the dealer. The player/dealer position will be skipped and will receive his (or her) card last. Each Player in turn (starting from seat #1) has the option to draw card(s), double down, split and surrender. Then the Player/Dealer will expose their second card. The player/dealer will draw cards until either a hard 17, soft 18 is made, or until the total is more than 21 (bust). The Player/Dealer’s second card determines where the action starts (payoff). For example, if the Player/Dealer’s second card is an Ace, then the action starts on seat #1. Each card is ranked from 1-13 and that many seats will be counted depending on the player/dealer’s down card. For example, if the down card is a King, 13 spots will be counted, skipping the player/dealer each time. Each player’s hands are revealed starting from where the action button is placed, and compared with the Player/Dealer’s hand. There is an optional buster bet bonus, where you bet on whether the player/dealer will bust or not. The payout chart is below

BETS

The seated player will have the right to the first spot, and after that any other player can bet on any remaining seat. All wagers will pay equal time collection before each hand is played. On Double-Deck games only, a player cannot jump in the game in the middle of a shoe. For a player to play during a shoe, they must have bet the first hand of that shoe.

DOUBLE-DOWN, SPLIT & SURRENDERDOUBLE DOWN

Players may double down on the first two cards dealt to them (except a natural Blackjack) and on the first two cards after a split, except with aces. Players can double down for less as long as amount is half or more of the original bet. When splitting Aces, the Player will receive only one draw card for each Ace. On most games aces can be re-split, but cannot be re-split on double deck games.

When splitting Aces, the Player will receive only one draw card for each Ace. On most games aces can be re-split, but cannot be re-split on double deck games.

Players may surrender at any time, as long as their hand is below a natural, and not after a double-down, and forfeit half of their wager.

Players MUST take a card on any hand with a value of 11 or less.

A maximum of 3 splits is allowed in most games. A maximum of 1 split is allowed in double deck games.

Additional house rules may apply.
